Interior design firm, Tucker & Marks, Inc., describe the project as an exercise in building beautiful forms and volumes, enhancing them with architectural details and moulding, and using custom furnishings, colours, paints, and textiles to make the interiors of this formal house approachable and intimate. There is more than 12,000 square feet of space with six bedrooms, each with en suite bath, plus four half baths, a cabana bath and full guest house with optional versatility for executive offices and fitness needs. Completing this masterpiece is the privacy and formality of the grounds that unfold over 1.5 acres, landscaped by Elizabeth Everdell Garden Design, with a sparkling pool, parterre gardens, and strolling paths that invite quiet contemplation or grand entertaining. It was once on the market as much as $45,000,000 and is last recorded selling in August of 2013 for $30,300,000.
